DPS on 9th Dec 2017- Diabetes in Women- 36th session

On the occasion of Diabetes day, month, a diabetic camp was conducted and concluded by the awareness program.

Dr Sriram, Diabetologist addressed audience on the the risk factors of "Diabetes in women". and the measures to be taken to prevent and delay the onset of complications. women are at higher risk of diabetes due to obesity and relatively non informed and thus not seeking medical care. 

the pathogenesis of diabetes, ill effects of smoking and hypertension and their cumulative damage is explained in a picture and movie format, for the common mans understanding.
